Sports editor for Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, Nana Prempeh popularly referred to as British Man has resigned from the station.

The experienced Sports Broadcaster started with Happy fm in 2004, he later joined multimedia group specifically Asempa fm and at the same time was the Greater Accra Regional Sports Editor for Kyzz fm in Takoradi.

Nana Prempeh who is known in Ghana sports media as British Man took over Rainbow Sports in February 2012 where he worked as editor and host of Rainbow flagship Sports show dubbed TOTAL SPORTS REVIEW for six (6) years.

Nana Prempeh has covered major sports tournaments and conferences including Fifa World Cup, Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, European Competitions such as the Champions League matches and cups games, Nations Cup, Boxing Events in Las Vegas and many more.

In his resignation letter, he expressed his gratitude to the Chief Executive of Rainbow Radio International Dr Mac Amoah, Management both Accra and London, entire staff and his Sports Crew for the unflinching support he enjoyed all these years.

Under his watch as editor, he took the sports program to the next level which got the station nominated in several awards and the 2015 Radio and Television Personality Award (RTP) in SPORTS PROGRAM OF THE YEAR category.

Nana Prempeh is expected to bring to bear his experience and expertise in the new challenging environment as he takes over Power Sports on 97.9Fm dial.

Nana Prempeh is the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Ghana Professional Golfers Association (PGA). He is also a member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) and once stood for the position as Deputy General Secretary in the last elections.
