Hon. Richard Acheampong, Mp for Bia East and a member of the parliamentary select committee on Education has criticized the Nana-Addo-Led NPP government that he has deceived the parents whose wards are in the second and the third year in the Senior High School.
According to him, the Nana-Addo-Led government promised the peoples of Ghana through their manifesto free education. He continues that chapter 9
, page 107, says they will redefine basic education to include SHS covering Vocational, Agricultural, and Technical schools and make it available for free on a universal basis to all Ghanaian, but what Ghanaians are experiencing is not what the NPP promised during their campaign.
He said during the campaign the SHS one students who are currently benefiting were not the students he spokes to. But he has passionately discriminated against those he spoke too. He said a total of 565,404 students in the SHS 2 and 3 whose parents voted for him because of free Senior High School has been deceived by the government. He again revealed this on Monday on Top Fm’s Ene Ghana Program hosted by Oheneba Boamah Bennie, that there is something called house found and up to date there is no Blue Print that shows it’s abolish or still pending, house dress, PTA, and all those levy who is paying them.
He ended by the say he is not against the policies but there must be a documents attached to the Free SHS project to see what the government has taking care off and what is left for the parents.
