The Former Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Juaboso constituency, Hon. Kwabena Mintah-Akandoh has sent a strong warning to President Nana Akuffo – Addo and the ruling New Patriotic Party that they should never in this term of office by which they are implementing this Free Senior High School come and tell Ghanaians that because of this free S.H.S, there is no money for other developmental projects like roads, hospitals and others. The honorable member of parliament who was angrily speaking on TOP FM program ENE GHANA with the host Oheneba Boamah, said from look of things it shows clearly that, the NPP as a party has nothing better for Ghanaians and they just want to use this to trick the general public.

He also said, for the past eight months the New Patriotic Party (NPP) took over from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) there has never been any change in economy of Ghana as they promised Ghanaians during campaign time.

“Instead of the NPP continuing with the progressive Free S.H.S, which the former president Mahama and the NDC administration has already started by putting up school facilities to facilitate the smooth running of the government senior high schools, they are rather rushing for free S.H.S”, he said.

Honorable Akandoh continued by saying, the same thing happened to our junior high school, at first the government basic schools were performing perfectly until we made it free, since then the private sector has taken over and they are rather performing brilliantly leaving the public school behind. “So are we expecting the same thing in the senior high level”, he asked.
